Attorney Profiles

H. Stewart James is a graduate of Riverside High School in Greenville.  He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Clemson University and he is a 2001 graduate of the Cumberland School of Law.  Stewart became an Associate with Babb & Brown, P.C. in November of 2002.

Stewart was previously an Associate with the firm of McIntosh, Sherard & Sullivan in Anderson where he practiced in the area of family law.  Since joining Babb & Brown, P.C., he has become an experienced real estate attorney, handling a variety of real estate matters from abstracting of titles to residential closings. He also has become proficient in the areas of probate administration and wills. He became partner in the firm in 2006.

Stewart is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Greenville County Bar Association. He is also a licensed title insurance agent with Chicago Title Insurance Company.
