Jonathan P. Whitehead, Attorney at Law, is originally from Easley, South Carolina. A 1998 graduate of Easley High School, Jon attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2002. Thereafter, he attended the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia where he finished 8th in his class and graduated with honors in 2006. In addition to excelling academically at the Appalachian School of Law, Jon participated in a number of extracurricular activities. Such activities included serving two years as an editor for the Appalachian Journal of Law, serving three years as an Appalachian School of Law Ambassador, and serving two years as a member of the school’s Moot Court Board, including one year as a competition team member at the 2005 Saul Leftkowitz National Moot Court Competition in Trademark Law. Jon is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Greenville County Bar Association, the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, and the Greenville Young Lawyers Club. Jon’s areas of practice at Babb & Brown, P.C. include Family Law, General Civil Litigation, and Real Estate.
